What is Adizone C™ for Cats?

Adizone C is an all-natural dietary supplement. Primary use is for its anti-inflammatory ability.  The herbs synergistically harmonize in keeping functionability in your cat.

Adizone C ™ is a unique blend of organic herbs designed to help inflammation and pain due to injury, illness and age.   Adizone C ™can also be used in conjunction with Amber Technology’s Life Cell Support, Derma NERV, Vibactra Plus, and Kidney Rejuvenator for old age difficulties and pain from nerve conditions.

Adizone C ™ was initially created to be used as an anti-inflammatory. Inflammation refers to the body's response to irritation or injury and is characterized by redness, warmth, swelling, and pain. An anti-inflammatory reduces the inflammation and pain. Anti-inflammatory refers to the property of a substance or treatment that reduces inflammation.  DO NOT USE with Amber Technology’s Pet’s Pain Formula ™.

However, Adizone C™ is not a cortisone replacement. If you are in need of cortisone to treat inflammatory arthritis or other ailments, check with your Veterinarian Health Care Provider to see what treatment options are available.

Although Adizone C™ is helpful with inflammation, diet is also very important. There are many foods with anti-inflammatory benefits. To name a few: salmon, meat that comes from animals fed grass also contains anti-inflammatory omega-3s, olive oil, turmeric, garlic, flaxseed, fish oil, Apotho-cherry (cherries, blueberries). Lysine is also beneficial to your pets old age needs.

There are clinical settings in which Adizone C™ is utilized beyond a ten day regimen.  Adizone C™ may be used for many months with clinical drug holidays (breaks) as directed for refractory irritable bowel syndrome as well as a variety of painful conditions, such as arthritis, pain from trauma, congenital malformation of the nervous system (e.g. spina bifida).  For the first six months of long term use, twice daily Adizone C™ is administered on rotating basis—five days of product administration followed by five days in which no product is given.  This five day on/five day off staggered schedule may continue as needed for the first six months of chronic use, defined as chronic after the initial ten days of administration.  Administration of Adizone C™ beyond six months mandates a two week holiday (break) from product before re-starting the same rotating schedule.  Adizone C™ may be administered as described for up to three consecutive six month cycles.  If further Adizone  C™ is deemed necessary for the pet, then a minimum six week period off product is mandated, as is clinical discussion with your veterinary health care provider or with the staff at Amber Technology concerning re-administration of Adizone C™ beyond that time period.

Adizone C is not a cortisone replacement.  If you are in need of cortisone, check with your Veterinarian Health Care Provider.

Note: there are approximately 15 drops in half a dropper full of solution.

Shake bottle well before each use. Gently squeeze the dropper bladder between the thumb and index finger to allow the dropper to fill with product. The product insert contains a dropper fill chart, which is also located on the bottom of each box. Use of this chart permits accurate approximation of the amount of drops to be dispensed, based on the height of fluid volume in the dropper.

The dropper vial holds a maximum of about 30 drops.

In general, it is not necessary to fill the entire dropper with fluid before dispensing product. Once the dropper is sufficiently filled with fluid, the bladder is gently squeezed while the exact number of fluid drops is permitted to fall from the tip as slowly as possible. Slow administration permits accurate drop count. The predetermined dose is dispensed directly into the mouth. The use of a syringe containing measured drops from the dropper will obviate risk of the animal biting the glass dropper. If any Adizone C is lost during administration (spitting, falling out of oral cavity), DO NOT administer additional product, as it is likely that most of the product was absorbed in the oral mucosa. It is more important to avoid overdose than to under-dose.

Do NOT give Adizone to Cat’s.  Administer Adizone C to cats instead.

Keep Adizone C™ out of the reach of children under 16 years of age. One must not exceed the daily recommended dose.   It is important to weigh your pet before administration of this product to obtain accurate daily dosing.  While the ingredient wild cherry bark is very healthy for other animals, it is considered a feline poison.  The safety profile for Adizone C™ has not been established in pregnant or nursing animals and its use should be avoided in those cases.

This product contains garlic, which affects platelet function and fibrinogen levels, and should therefore be considered a mild blood-thinner.  Two ingredients—Garlic and Cat’s Claw tend to lower blood pressure, which is relevant in the context of infected animal’s baseline cardiovascular status, which tends towards low blood pressure when septic.  Administration of Adizone ™ includes specifically-prescribed interruptions in its use.

Continuous use of Adizone C™ without appropriate scheduled interruption is to be avoided, as it is associated with clinically significant listlessness.  As with any nutraceutical or pharmaceutical product, Adizone C™ may cause an allergic reaction that may manifest as either skin redness, urticaria (hives), peri-orbital edema (swelling around the eyes), or as potentially serious respiratory dysfunction associated with laryngeal edema.

Any suggestion of allergic reaction, even the most subtle, should alert the pet owner or veterinary health care provider to cease any further administration of Adizone C™ and to assess for interventional measures for such a reaction.  One should have all of the appropriate emergency contact information readily available before starting this or any nutraceutical,   pharmaceutical, or nutritional supplement.

Early but extensive experience with Adizone C™suggests no signs or symptoms of overdose beyond that which is reflected in a reduction in the pet’s level of activity. For any questions concerning a potential allergic reaction or the adverse reaction of listlessness should be addressed by immediately contacting your veterinary health care provider.  The inflammatory response of your pet is an immune response. Because the ingredients of this product swiftly effect an attenuation of the inflammatory response, it is recommended that Adizone C™ not be administered concurrently with any product that may additionally effect a dampening of the immune response.

The use of Adizone C in the presence of endocrine pancreatic dysfunction (e.g. diabetes mellitus or acute infectious pancreatitis) is contraindicated.  Evidence of liver disease is a relative contraindication due to the presence of ethyl alcohol in this product (alcohol may be removed by protocol) To eliminate alcohol, add same amount of hot water as Adizone C, let cool before administering.  All benefits and risks of this product should be weighed appropriately before use.  Do not administer Adizone C in conjunction with steroid medication.
